I agree, the time just flew by! I think, given enough practice, the process will speed up. Getting teachers to buy in is a big deal- even if they are excited about a technology, they don't have the time to put into becoming proficient. I think one way to go might be to expose the students (who will not take so long to become proficient). Maybe if students start asking for it- teachers will become more aware(?).
